Getting Around Wild Perthshire

By Car

The main A9 trunk road runs through the heart of Highland Perthshire with exits for Birnam, Dunkeld, Aberfeldy, Kenmore, Killicrackie and Pitlochry.
For events in Crieff, follow signs for the A85 which is clearly signposted and can be accessed from main trunk routes whether you are travelling from the North or South of Scotland.

By Train

Train stations are situated in Dunkeld, PItlochry & Blair Atholl with regular services connecting from:

  • Glasgow (Journey Duration Approx 1h 45mins)
  • Edinburgh (Journey Duration Approx 2h)
  • Inverness (Journey Duration Approx 1h 45mins)
  • Perth (Journey Duration Approx 35mins)
  • Dundee (Journey Duration Approx 1h)

Other event locations do not have a train station and it is recommended you use alternative methods of transport to get there.

By Bus

All locations are well served on main bus routes to and from Inverness, connecting all of Britain’s major cities. Route information is available from Citylink.

If you are local to Perthshire, the local bus services operate may better serve your requirements and is operated by Stagecoach.
